This project was on my teacher’s mother's house. She has a beautiful 1900s cottage in the Converse Heights area. The purpose of the renovation of her home is that she was getting a little older and needed something readjusted to accommodate her aging needs. This was also a team project and I worked with one of my classmates to complete it.

This design aims to remodel and revamp the client's Kitchen and primary suite in a way that adapts to her lifestyle while keeping in tune with her eclectic energy. To accommodate the client's needs, our team will integrate modern stainless steel appliances, hardware, and fixtures. In addition to updating appliances, this design will aim to enhance mobility within the home, this includes: creating an open concept within the kitchen and breakfast area, increasing the number of outlets, and lowering cabinets so that items are easier to reach. For the primary suite, we will rework the existing floor plan to provide more space and create a luxurious and peaceful environment within the primary bath that will accommodate aging and mobility issues.
